I had a strange random thought when I was playing poker with my family tonight.
Is playing Blind Man's Bluff with a blind man fair? And if not, to who?
...yeah, my mind throws me strange curveballs. |

| DAMN YAHOO!!! |
[Oct. 21st, 2008|02:33 pm] |
For some reason yahoo has decided to not let me access my email account which very annoying and kinda bad, cause I've had that account for almost a decade and all the links and email addresses I have under it are lost until I can access it again.
I don't even remember how I found some of those websites I have listed in my bookmarks. This is just... *grr*
Anyway, if any of you recognize me from some of the mailing lists I'm part of can you tell them that yahoo is being mean to me at the moment so I can't get on?
Also, is that happening to anyone else? |

| What the HELL?!?!?! |
[Jun. 26th, 2008|08:31 pm] |
Okay I got my copy of Shounen Jump and while skimming through the articales before turning to the comics to read I came across one that almost made me jump the magazine.
They're coming out with a DBZ movie.
A live action DBZ movie.
...
......
.........
WHAT THE HELL?!
I... I... really don't know whether to look forward to it or be very, very scared.
Especially since it seems to be American made.
The Wiki Article
Although James Marsters, the guy that played Spike on Buffy is apparently playing Piccolo.
Who else is very disturbed by this news? |

| Trailer SQUEE!!! and Mercedes Lackey Ramble |
[Dec. 8th, 2007|09:53 am] |
Has anyone else seen the trailer for Prince Caspian? Or the first 6 mins. of The Golden Compass on Yahoo?
All I can say is SQUEE!!!!
*suddenly calm* Although I do like how they did the Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe; I still prefer the older version that I saw for the first time way back in fourth grade. Mostly because from what I remember they didn't try to shorten the book down to two hours. But I could be remembering wrong. How I saw them was my teacher had all of them I think (I think it went at least through Prince Caspian over several tapes) and she let me borrow them.
Makes me kinda wish that they could blend the two. Ya know? The tech of today with the story telling ability of then?
Anyway thought I would share my enthusiasum and fantasy fangirlishness.
Although on a sidenote: I'm looking at Mercedes Lackey's bibliography on another screen and all I can really say is it's very, very cool that she's very up to date on todays SF (which means Speculative Fiction rather than Science Fiction I think). She's written a HP source book of a sort among other things. Including a Wing Commander book (which I think was a computer video game.)
She's my favorite author so sorry if I'm gushing. I've actually read the entire Valdemar series several times per book since I started reading them at around eleven just to tell you something. I actually have a fairly good memory for things I've read so I will only occasionally reread something, but I always reread her books just because I love the story.
...I think I'll stop now. I'm kinda rambling.
Also SQUEEE!!! again for the trailers! Can't wait to get them on DVD (I'm obviously a huge fantasy buff) |
